I'm trying to figure out how to do this blog today, and get a point across to so many people.
Let's start with the 5 year long bashing of anything having to do with Clay Aiken.
In this world of narcissism, self indulgence, and instant gratification, everything speeds along, with no regard for any destruction caused in the wake.
It seems we can't get people to understand our high regard for Mr.Aiken.

When it is attempted, I am labeled an Over the top fan, or called an idiot, fanatical Clay fan, etc.Just last week, I was called an RC??!!(Rabid Claymate) I didn't even know what it was, but had quite a few blog posters who have no idea what kind of woman I am, laughing at me.
Posters were looking up my profile, and accusing me of being friends with the most radical of radical, Clay fans.
I'm against being a Radical Clay fan,and I get disgusted at Clay fans who seem it is their duty to run to every article put out about Clay, and immediately go into the comment area ,and try to shove all the itinerary regarding Clays life into the face of anyone,especially when the article might just be a music review, that doesn't please that fan.
Many of Clays fans are to blame for causing a resentment toward Clay, and there are Many Clay fans that created a fantastic regard for Clay and his life works.
If done in the right fashion, it works.

I've had an interesting life, and went through MANY ups and downs. Trials and Tribulations.
There are parallels to what Clay has been through in his short time on this earth, to my own misfortunes.
I relate to him that way. I relate to him on a spiritual level too. Clay came along with all the values of someone from many many years ago.
Learning of Clay on AI, was like taking a step back in time, to life when it was non violent, happy, cleanliving, God fearing, seeing in him that there is still hope for morality, and virtues, and respect to exist, for it to make a comeback.
When I think of Clay and his value system, I am reminded of The Andy Griffith Show, and the small town of Mayberry.
Clay to me, is that reminder of the innocence back then.
Trying to hang on to that ideal, has kept me a fan of Clay Aiken.
I won't back down. He gives me Hope that good will overcome the evil.
He gives me Hope that God sees everyone who is trying to maintain a good and decent value system in their lives. That not everyone is self-centered, narcissistic, and self absorbed.
I do believe that in order to appreciate just what Clay Aiken stands for, you have to have good in your heart from the beginning.
From his heart, he has touched thousands, and thousands of people who are longing for a return to GOOD.


So, the EVIL keeps trodding across our hearts, and beating at Clay Aiken, at every move he makes.
He is STRONG, He is of GODS will.
What doesn't break him, makes him stronger.It's the 'What Doesn't Break Him' that worries me.
I cry at the attacks on him, and the barrage of insults, the constant battering of him, when not one of us knows him.
Who are they that condemn, and assault without any sin, and faults?
He is Not perfect, he never has acted as though he believed he is.
I'm willing to let Clay live his life, as though he were my neighbor.
I wouldn't bash my neighbor, or stand face to face and ridicule them, either.
How unjust that the media, and the bloggers, take their potshots at him, in such cheap fashion, hiding behind screen names, and behind a website title.
You disgust me.
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO WAKE UP THE MEDIA, AND MAKE THEM REALIZE THAT THE TRUTH NEEDS TO RETURN. THEIR INTEGRITY NEEDS TO BE REESTABLISHED WITHIN THE NEWS INDUSTRY.??THEY SICKEN ME, AND THEY HAVE DESTROYED MY FAITH IN 'TRUTH IN JOURNALISM'.

I'm hoping against hope, that the bias that exists with most dj's, in playing Clays music, someday ends.Part of that blame lies in we fans, who inundated radio stations with massive requests, to me, causing a lot of irritation between the two.
We have now wound up with almost a 'blackballing' of ANYTHING released with the name 'Clay Aiken' attached to it.
That's too damn bad too, as he has recorded some great sounds. I secretly pray that whoever controls what spins on the radio,and what doesn't, just happens to toss a CA CD on, and actually listen to it.
Not knowing who it is.
But..........Then again, WHO LISTENS TO RADIO MUCH ANYMORE???

It's so weird that of all singers who deserve respect, the guy doesn't get cut a break.
Clay doesn't fit the mold, so they try, and try to 'break that mold'.
I don't get mad anymore if the world won't listen, because you can't change how a world reacts,you can only change how you react to what it does to you.

The rest of us sit and enjoy his world with him.
His world is filled with 'Standards, Integrity, Morals, Character, Respect, Inclusion,Values, and Equality. Clay helps us to remember what our world is SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE.
His lifes perceptions of who he is, and what his purpose, is while here, is very clear. He doesn't stray from his beliefs, and it inspires me to be 'a better Me'.

5 Years and growing stronger each day.
It's been almost a year since my last Chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer, and I'm so Grateful to God, for placing a wonderful inspiration into a part of MY WORLD.
In My World.....
It is safe to walk at night
Nobody hurts someone on purpose
God is a focal point of life
Television still had 'Standards' they go by.
The First Amendment isn't Overused, and Abused.

Our Soldiers, whom many are too young to die, for a Country, gone astray.

People with disabilities who strive to overcome the bias, and discriminations toward them.
My Mom, who bore the physical scars of a face half burnt off, and 1 ear, and the emotional scars of an abusive husband, to go forward and raise 4 kids on her own. Teaching me one of the most valuable lessons in life.......to stand up to a raised fist, and walk away from it.
Her 'disabilities' taught me compassion, acceptance, and respect.
Her 'abilities' taught me Independence, Integrity, Respect, and Character.
I do believe that in order to appreciate someone of Clay Aikens standards, you must encompass them in your own world.
