Clay Aiken and Eminem??? Say What???????

I have no idea how many people read this blog.

So, I'm writing as though it is a diary of mine. Yet , a Front page article. lol

I'm about to embark on a human parallelism.

One that probably people would have a hard time understanding.

It is a parallelism that spouts contradictions in taste, common sense,

saneness, and almost insanity.

Some people call them similarities, commonalities, etc..

What could be so baffling, one wonders?....

I have 2 Favorite singers.

In favoritism order, they are

1. Clay Aiken

2. Marshall Mathers aka Eminem

I call it my Good vs Evil complex, or better yet, my Angel vs Devil Life.

Lots of people can't understand, if I'm a full blown, all out,

Claymate, who puts Clay Aiken as my #1 Singer,

How the Hell can I stand to listen to Eminem?

I laugh at their failure to comprehend.

I like to say that Eminem is what Clay might have become,

if he too,had been raised by a mother who emotionally wasn't there for him much.

They share quite a few 'life changing' experiences,

and individually chose which way to 'express' their anger, pain, sadness.. etc.

I share some of their 'life changing experiences',

and apparently I live vicariously through their songs.

Some common 'Life changing' denominators between them are;

1. Raised without a fathers love

2. Bullied in school, when they were young

3. Suffered through a relative committing suicide.

4. They have expressed their 'guilt' feelings over those suicides,

either in written word, or song.

5. Considered 'underdogs' in the world of media

6. Continuously having to 'Pay their dues' in the music industry.

My similarities to theirs:

1. Raised, and molested by a father, until the age of 6, whereupon he 'ran out on us'.

2. My mother became an alcoholic until my teenage years. Emotionally, she wasn't there.

3. My sister committed suicide through alcoholism 1 month after the 911 incident.

4. I've spent a life of surviving in silence, but with a healthy God fearing mind.

Keeping it all inside ourselves, the 3 of us have learned how to get the pain released.

On my angry days, I toss Eminem into my CD player.

I have a killer stereo system in my car, and Yes, I blow it out of my speakers.

I play it long, and I play it loud, until my anger subsides,

and I am once again at peace with the world.

Once I've gained control back of my emotions,

I'm ready to put Clay in the CD player

Eminem makes my mental thoughts gain perspective,

and Clay brings comfort, joy, peace, and tranquility to my heart.

Eminem lashes out at this cruel world, and takes his world back that way.

It's the best you can do when you've been basically a life long 'orphan'.

It makes sense, it feels right. He is also one of the best fathers I've ever seen.

He learned from his lonely life, what others need of him, and with his daughter Haille,

he delivers.

Clay reaches out to the world lovingly, and won't let the it snatch the life out of him.

Clay, also has learned from his loneliness as a young boy.

He's turned his life experiences in to finding ways to help fill emotional gaps,

physical afflictions, and mental challenges, with his foundation for working with Autistic children. The BubelAiken Foundation aka BAF.

I can't let either of these 2 guys go, they seem to be part of what I need in MY life.

These 2 guys and God.

God, Clay, and Eminem

'Lose yourself in the music, the moment you own it, you better never let it go.'

(from the Album 'Curtain Call', by Eminem)

See you in Vegas Clay!

I'm counting the days now until the 'Celebration On Ice' show in Las Vegas. It's been 2 months since seeing Clay Aiken in Frisco, Texas.
My Cancer is in remission, and I'm celebrating by treating myself to Clay!!! I love the spiritual side of Clay so much, that I had to buy the tickets.
The Christmas tour doesn't look feasible for me, so Las Vegas is the best I can do, and do it, I will.
I'm taking my 2 daughters with me,1 who goes to ALL my Clay concerts with me, and my oldest daughter, who'se never seen Clay in concert.
She doesn't follow his career, or listen to his CD's.
She is in for a treat. Wait until she hears him singing traditional Christmas songs. OMG.
I feel a Clayversion coming. Moms always know best, don't they? !!
This is a short blog, just to say Hi, and tell ya how excited I am about my next Clay sighting.
What??? No Meet and Greet?? Ok, then, to the busses!!!!

What is Clay Aiken Up to Today?

(Total snark)

Well, the concerts are in the past now, and the Claymates are getting restless.
When they get restless, they tend to sharpen claws, grow indignancy, harbor some ignorance, and rip any, and all ,that get in their path. Where else can you find a gazillion pages of angst, over a rumor of a reunion tour? ( oh and KLo, you lost those gazillion posters as fans now).Good going with the '2month non returned phone call comment).
I think sometimes Claymates frighten themselves, with their rampant ways. ( naw, nevermind)
Clay, you need to do Non stop concerts, because you can't let these women suffer so.
The Christmas Tour, ' Christmas In The Heartland', needs to start when the stores start filling their aisles with Halloween candy. lol
We need to set some rules and guidelines for 'Our Man' here.
1. Clay... Think about doing some 'Halloween Clandy' Tours
2. Set up venues in every single city in the U.S.of A, plus all outlying Nations. DO NOT LEAVE ANY CITY OUT OF YOUR ITINERARY!!!
3. We need a daily blog, at least 2 paragraphs long, with some capitalized words thrown in here and there. It really does keep the Claymates 'busy',sometimes for days, and days, and days...
4. Clay, set up a daily 'I'm doing this, and I'm going here/ there/everywhere, and release it to the media, for your claymates. They 'NEED TO KNOW', ya'know.
5. Seriously now, Clay Do you really believe the Claymates are going to be patient, waiting for your next CD? 2008??? I don't think so,Clay!!
6. Do a Jam recording session, and get that CD out to those ladies, before 2007 ends. They may start eating their young, trying to determine a 2008 release date. You can shave a few months off, can't you?
OK, this is just a small sample of ways to calm the Claymates. In the meantime, what's on your agenda? I can keep a secret, I swear.

[This blog was done all in fun, as I am a full fledged Claymate myself. It is my first blog, and I'm learning how to make one] Hope you enjoyed it~
